What is the diffrent for ESD & Anti Static
Do you know what is the diffrent for ESD & Anti Static ?
Electro Static Discharge is the creation of a high voltage
potential which then . uhh discharges.
Anti-static is a conductive surface or area that does not allow the build
up of a high voltage.
If you work in electronics you are familiar with plastic bags which are
grayish metallic or black they are anti static.
There are also pink bags which will not create ESD but are not antistatic. Kinda in between. If you want to create ESD unroll some scotch tape. 3M (they make anti static products) use their own tape to create the ESD that they prove their product will withstand.
nothing they are the same thing
ESD would be a sort of anti-anti static.
There is no difference. Wait, what is ESD?
