the wall with the built up static that accumilated in it......well, you 
see my point. if it can prevent static then you couldnt stick it to the 
wall. then again l am assuming that ballons are made from the same latex

It is best to stick with the anti-static wrist strap, & to avoid working  
on carpet (for fear of static build up from the carpet.  
 
Additionally, if the power supply on ur system has its own seperate off  
switch, it is best to leave the system plugged in & the power supply off.  
That way the system itself will remain grounded.
